waiting to be shared with the world. A friend said, “you should check out Leroy’s cover of Climax (by Usher)”. With much regard to the trusted source we searched for Leroy, only to be blown away by his expressive vocals. We wanted more.

Where are you from and how old are you?
Leroy – “I’m from Spain, more specifically, form the Basque Country and I’m 20 years old.”
How long have you been doing music?
Leroy – “It seems I’ve done it forever but I’d say since I was 9.”
Why do you sing and when did you realize you wanted to pursue music?
Leroy – “I always loved to sing, There’s something that just music can make me feel… Singing is my way to escape from the world, to be in my zone and express myself. I always knew I was going to be singing no matter what. I never thought about it as a way of making a living but as a hobby, as something I love to do. I think that’s what makes me enjoy it so much. That’s how I started uploading videos to youtube. I never thought it was going to bring me where I am at today.”
Do you have a specific genre, I noticed your voclas range from r&b to pop via youtube.
Leroy – “I’m definitely more inclined to R&B, soul, and Pop music but I listen to ANYTHING. My iPod is a mix of everything, you could find tunes from David Guetta to Evanescence, John Mayer, or even some movie soundtracks too. Inspiration can come from so many different places…”
Who are you a fan of and who would you like to work with in the industry?
Leroy – “There’s so many people I’d love to work with… I’m a huge James Morrison fan and working with him would be insane! He’s one of my main inspirations and influences.”
You have a nice support base, where do you see your talents taking you in the future?
Leroy – “I always say that I don’t like to picture the future in any way because nobody knows what’s going to happen. I’m not going to lie, I’d be crazy finding myself one day playing for thousands of people but wherever my music brings me I’ll be happy and grateful for it. As long as my fans enjoy my music I’ll be the luckiest man.”
Do you have original music you plan to release? If so, when?
Leroy – “I’m working in a lot of original material right now and I’m really excited for it!!! I wouldn’t be able to tell you when it’s going to come out but stay tuned because it won’t take too long!”
Are you currently signed?
Leroy – “I’m currently signed to Rebel Rock Entertainment ran by the incredible producer Jim Jonsin.”
What is something people don’t know about you?
Leroy – “I’m very disorganized with my stuff… lol But somehow I find order among my clutter.”
